They sound a little bit strange, but the cottage cheese melts to create a creamy cheesy goodness! This is one of those recipes that I just throw together and the measurements do not have to be perfect. Cook 8 slices of bacon and crumble it up after it cools. Set to the side. In a bowl, mix 2 cups of sour cream and a small container of cottage cheese. Also add about 1/2 cup of milk and spices/herbs. (2 tsp. of paprika, 2 tsp. dill, and 1 tsp. black pepper. Let the mixture in the bowl warm up to room temp. That way your dish will stay hot when you add this creamy mixture to your noodles. Cook a box of bowtie pasta. After draining the pasta, add the creamy mixture and crumbled bacon to your pasta pot. (You can keep the pot on low heat.) Stir until the cheese melts and it is ready to serve. Sometimes I add a little more milk if it is not creamy enough. And our family loves the paprika/dill/pepper, so I always add extra and just put those spice jars on the table so everyone can add more if they wish. <br />.....Elizabeth.....
