Happy Valentine's Day! Wishing you lots of chocolate and pretty flowers!
Menu planning is going well! I've enjoyed talking with friends about recipes--I never really did until recently. I've noticed my hubby is going back for seconds more often, so that must be a good sign! Don't think for a minute that I've got it all together. I still burn bagels at breakfast at last twice a week! When my children grow up and move out, I'm afraid the smell of burnt toast will always remind them of home.
Here's what's cooking in my kitchen this week!
Monday- Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos from Pennies on a Platter. Serve with a salad.
Tuesday- Crazy busy day. Doctor's appointment, scouts, and oh yes, it's Valentine's Day! I'm thinking this calls for take-out! Perhaps Italian?
Wednesday- Corn, Bacon, and Potato Chowder from Weight Watchers. Serve with salad.
Thursday- Channa Masala from Eat, Live, Run . Serve with Garlic Naan (from Trader Joe's)
Friday- Take out from our favorite sushi place!
Saturday-Mushroom Pasta . Serve with garlic bread and broccoli. Thanks, Jane for sharing!
Sunday- leftovers.
Hope you all have a very happy week!
If you have time, please let me know what's cooking in your kitchen! I always love hearing from you!
xoxo (and lots of chocolate!) Elizabeth
I'm linking up with Meal Plan Monday !
Good morning Elizabeth!! Happy Monday to you!! Another week of yummy recipes I see, I hope you all enjoy the pasta on Saturday! I have a veg korma ready for dinner tonight, can't wait. The take-out tomorrow sounds like a winner. Have a wonderful week. Jane xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi Jane! Thanks for sharing your Mushroom pasta recipe! Veg korma? I'm going to have to look that up! You have a good week too!

This looks awesome. I really love potato chowder. I may have to give this one a try!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish I was organized as you are with meal planning-oh, and you definitely deserve a take out night on Valentine's Day.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great menu Elizabeth. Do your kids eat all those foods? I'm afraid I have not done a good job raising them! They are picky!
ReplyDeleteApril Lou--I've made the chowder once before and it was great!
ReplyDeleteKaren-I've just started meal planning. I'm normally a 5:30 "What in the world am I going to cook for dinner?" girl!
Jane--My son loved the taquitos last night! Normally, both of my children are very picky. I'm glad to know yours can be too! Makes me feel better:)
